Shopping Spree!

Anyone who quilts and lives in Sydney is probably familiar with Craft Depot at Pennant Hills.  They are having a huge sale in November, and on the way home from quilting on the weekend, Kyishia and I stopped in to check out the sale.  I have to admit that I might have gone a little bit over the top....

This is what I came home with
some gorgeous Ginger Blossom and a couple of prints that match quite well
Some hard to find Heather Ross - mermaids and octupuses (octupi?)
and this pile of wonderful fabrics!
it really all started with this bird print - it was just so cute and colorful that I couldn't resist..
then I saw this adorable bicycle print so I added it to the pile

Then I decided that I should pick a couple of other fabrics to 'match'
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but I'm feeling something fresh with a cream and a very clean bright design.  It was a great day of shopping!

  1. I've been there! I've been there! Yes, two times, at least! You've picked some yummy prints. I have the same bicycle print too. Goodness. Do we have the same fabric tastes or what?! I think I'll watch to see what you do with all these because I'm sure I'll like whatever you make, so much, I'll want to do the same!

  2. Ooo! lovely fabric. I have used that bird fabric with a lemon background.

Thanks for reminding me to get to that sale before I head off to the "sticks" for mum's operation.

  3. Ack darn it that I'm so behind in my blog reading as I just saw this now! I think I might have just squeezed in in time to get the last half metre of all the mendicino. Fingers they don't email me and tell me tomorrow that they've run out and refund me!!
Nice haul by the way :)
